Changin plans mid-cycle - will promo still apply?

Hello,

I'm hoping someone is able to answer the following question. I'm thinking of changing plans to one that is on promo. The promo ends before the end of my cycle. If I choose for the plan to take affect when my cycle renews do I still get the promo? or would I have to switch before promo ends?

context: Cycle ends July 16, the promo plan $39 a month for 30GB ends June 19th.

@Amtre Your best to change plan on renewal so you don’t loose money on current cycle . And you won’t miss out on the new plan offering . Maybe screen shot a pic of the plan change . Just in case as proof for support . And you good to go

@Amtre from what we understand , as long as you schedule a planchange before the promo ends, PM will honour it even your cycle end date is after the promo end date

Past practice has been that they honour scheduled plan changes. There was a breakage in that a while ago with a messy promo for $20 off. But I haven't heard of this not being honoured since.
