Does anyone know if there's a way to change the date that your card gets charged?

@Nccap no you cannot.

PM is running on a 30 days (or 90 days if you have 90 days plan) cycle and hence the payment date will always move one day forward after a 31 days month

Hency, you can never fix the payment day. Even you make it the day you want for a particular month, it will shift in the following month or two

Since plan costs are taken from available funds you can always add funds at your convenience. (Personally I buy vouchers on my routine visits to London Drugs, which, most of the time is way before my renewal. In order to not lose them I add them to my account the same day.)
