My id shows up as private caller. This is a new occurrence as I’ve always shown my ID. How do I show myself to the people I’m calling.

I am assuming your friends and family have you in their Contact.
Private numbers normally show if you have an unlisted landline and not for cell line.

Public mobile does not show name display (like Rogers). It normally only shows the phone number. If the person you called has your information in their contacts, your name should show up on call display.

Don’t you have to pay extra for your caller ID to be Private? Thus would not pass giving a phone number too so would by pass matching the number and name in your contacts list.

First question that comes to mind, is the OP a PM customer?

Are you using *67 prefix on every number you call?

@Been check your phone / call settings. There can be a setting for hide my caller ID.
