@Sim-Card if you meant you want to keep using PM service with your number, PM only has roaming service in US and no where else.

If you need it for US, you will need to buy roaming add-on, they come in 15 days

@Sim-Card nothing if you don't want Public services on it. You could use it for internet in wifi areas.

If in the USA, there are Roaming Addons available for purchase in your My Account or 611 to purchase. They last for 15 days, and available once added to your account.

Outside of Canada and USA there are no public mobile services available. So you best to look for a local sim card if you require it.

Or, you can leave your sim card in Canada, and forward your number to a wifi app to receive texts if you wish, check out text now or fongo. https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/get-help/articles/call-forwarding

where do you plan on travelling and for how long ?

what make / model is the phone ? Check to see if volte is enabled on that phone by Public Mobile. Volte will make the talk portion of the add-on to work. Without volte...meh !

PM service does not work in Alaska at all.
