I looked at the coverage map and I am on the border of coverage and no coverage for 4G/3G. Im in rural N.B., but I don't have a civic address number yet, as I just bought the property. It is within 65-70 meters from 3570 Rte 620, Tay Creek, N.B., E6B1K9, which is within the coverage area I believe, as my phone shows service as I drive to that location. My property is further down the hill and the coverage map on PM website doesn't show distances or locations, so I can't really tell. It is 4G and 3G that I can't get, as that is all that it shows on the map.

I don't understand the following as I cannot find "about phone" in my settings or what the signal strength is, and don't see anything about changing to 3G only. My phone is a bit older, it is Apple 5s, 2017 I believe, and I mostly use it for phone and text, so don't use it much.

My reception is fine, except for the area I am moving to, and it works fine elsewhere. But, this is where I am going to be living within the next week or two and would like to have service there.

Check your signal strength readings in your phone. Go to Settings>>About phone>>SIM card status>>Signal strength= (?)dBm. Then change your network to 3G only and check it's reading.

There is such a thing @dfergus50

https://www.google.com/search?q=booster+to+improve+mobile+signal+canada

But have you tried any troubleshooting to see if you can improve your signal?

You could try, the below to see if anything helps

restart your phone

toggle into and out of airplane mode

perform a Reset of the device's Network Settings

try your SIM card into another compatible phone to see if services are improved. This could rule out a device issue.

Your location so we can check the cell tower map. Are you having an issue with both the 4G LTE and the 3G network ( used for voice calls)?

Check your signal strength readings in your phone. Go to Settings>>About phone>>SIM card status>>Signal strength= (?)dBm. Or from one room to another? Or near a window and farther inside?

Has your signal strength always been an issue or just recently? Just calls or all services? When is the last time you rebooted your phone? Toggled airplane mode on/off?

This will help us determine if a signal booster will help your issue.

To contact customer support : Submit a support ticket via SIMon the chat bot Click here

Or if you cannot submit a ticket via SIMon then Click here ....for additional member supplied info.

Yes, I have one. They are available on eBay. At my cottage I had to go outside to use my phone and even then I can only get 1 bar of 4G. With the booster I get 3-4 bars inside now. I can text, email & surf indoors now no problem. Phone service is not any better though because the booster only boosts the 4G band 17 signal. I now realize I should have bought a multi-band booster which could also boost the 3G band 2 signal.

Before purchasing the booster download the Network discovery app to confirm which bands you are receiving at your house so that you get the appropriate booster.

Download an app called "Network Cell Info" it will give you your signal strength and 4G band #. Then place a phone call , open the app and you'll see what your 3G band # is. Buy a booster that will amplify both of those bands and you are golden.
