Why is my data being used up when at home on wifi?

@Crochet pM up dates the data usage 2x a day your probably just seeing usage you previously used in the 12 hours prior

PM does not update the data usage constantly. In fact, it only updates it twice a day.

So, any entry you see is just a total usage between that timestamp and the timestamp of the previous entry. So, your morning usage use see does not mean it was used in the morning but a total usage for the last 12 hours.

Also, for correct usage reading, always use Incognito mode to login My Account to avoid reading cached old info

The phone hasn’t left my home for days and im still using data? It used up my plan data and I still have 10 days to go !

@Crochet and your certain wifi was enabled on your phone , before you ran out of data

add you can check in your phones settings what apps used the data

@Crochet how much data? was it under 5mb?

also, make sure you disable Wifi-Assist or Adaptive Wifi. Those are features to use Mobile Data when Wifi is weak., it could cost you some data
