why can't you donwload the app? your phone has a non-Canadian app store?

if you are activating 4G or 5G plan, you can activate online

https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/plans

but if you are activating 3G plan ($15 or $25), you have to activate on the app. Ask your friend to help to download on his/her phone and activate for you. You just need it for activatoin and can use web after

Its a flip phone that i purchased from Public Mobile so it cannot download anything

Older phones with old OS can’t get Google Play store.

My old iPhone 6 will not have the app that I want but my iPhone 8 and iPhone X…I can.

Wait until 2025 when 3G will be discontinued…lots of people will be looking for a new phone.
