How do I know if my account has been enabled for Volte? I am visiting the US and the 3G US roaming is horrible but roaming is supposed to work if one's account has been Volte enabled.

Not everyone gets the text. I didn't, but I got upgraded a couple months ago already.

Easiest way to tell if you have VoLTE is to turn wifi off and watch the symbols at the top of your phone screen. Make sure you're on LTE or 5G to begin with, and if it stays on that when on a call you should be good. If it drops to 3G you're not.

I also didn't get a text when it was enabled on my account and there are no settings indicating it's availability on my phone, only way to tell is making a call and watching the connection status.

The CS agent has been very helpful with this issue. Unfortunately for some reason my phone, an Hauwei P20 Pro, which is VoLTE compatible is not on PM's list for the upgrade. Here is a link to the list of phones that is being supported by PM (list is at bottom of posting).

https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/get-help/articles/volte
