Fongo is a different type of service that allows calling and texting based on voice over internet protocol. For most cases you would still need some type of internet connection for use.

Public Mobile is similar to other service providers where their plans are associated with telecommunication towers to allow phones to call, text, use the internet, etc.

Fongo is owned by FPL Communication (Freephoneline.com). It has no relationship with Telus/PM

Your title was Telephone payment. You were trying to make a bank payment for PM's bill? You cannot pay PM's bill in bank. And your PM's available fund cannot be used to pay for Fongo service, too

(interesting fact: Fongo made a bid to buy Wind Mobile back in 2013, but failed)
