      <title>Huawei B890 Hub didn't connect after signing up - ?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;After I checked if my hub would work on this system IMEI # said good...and ordered the SIM card and paid for activation, my hub is not connected to the internet.&amp;nbsp; I've read a bit and see that I need to put Public Mobile in for the APN name and sp.mb.com in under the APN but my only drop down selection for APN is:&amp;nbsp; telus isp, telus vpn or telus connect.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How do I get around that?&amp;nbsp; I cannot change that, it has locked me out.&amp;nbsp; My device was supposed to have worked on here but do I actually have to unlock it then?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Help graciously received...&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Anything that can tell us if it's locked with Telus as a carrier or not 99.9 percent of phones with the big 3 are locked to the carrier and needs to be unlocked by the user needs to request it usually costs around 52.50 to unlock a phone now but use to be like 200 or more</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, yes I did get it from Telus.&amp;nbsp; When I called them and after a 3 hr wait, they told me that they would not unlock it as it wasn't currently active through them.&amp;nbsp; I'd disconnected it a few months ago but yes, I bought it and paid it out through telus mobility.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Luddite&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My hub was bought through telus but I got the new SIM card from PM and then went in and purchased a 90 day plan with data only for the hub but it won't work.&amp;nbsp; Not sure why.&amp;nbsp; I did do a factory reset on it and the passwords are all back to default so I'm sure THAT part worked.&amp;nbsp; Re:&amp;nbsp; APN:&amp;nbsp; The only selection for the kAPN was Telus ISP, Telus VPN or Telus Connect.&amp;nbsp; Not sure which one of those would I use then on Public Mobile?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Perhaps&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/10779"&gt;@Mary_M﻿&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;or&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/9663"&gt;@Shazia_K﻿&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;can find some time tomorrow to let us know their thoughts.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Found this in a Telus manual: "&lt;SPAN&gt;The &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Profile list &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;should be set to &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;TELUS ISP&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;, and the &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Static APN &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;should be defaulted to &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;isp.telus.com&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;. Click &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Next &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;to continue." If the Static APN can be changed give it a try.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I have seen offers for similar products and they usually arrive preprogrammed.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
