Is there a way to purchase data for the day in the US? I’m only going for the day and need data for directions when driving.

add I think you can download google map to your phone and not need data

No, but you can download maps and use it offline. Turn on location and it will follow along with you. Set up directions and it will use that. Using the start navigation might want the internet.

Download an e-sim from Ubigi and buy a 1 day US plan for $2.90 USD. Very easy, and you can set it up from home. When you cross the border just enable the Ubigi sim for data.

@Erin04 if your phone has eSIM supported, try those travel eSIM. 1Gb for around $5 for 7 days.. I can send you some info if you are interested
