If I want to change my subscription to the new 4G promotion plan at $39 per month, if I do it right now, does it become effective immediately or will the change occur at the start of my next subscription cycle?

Public mobile does not pro-rate plans. We usually recommend change plans at the next renewal date.

You can change plans immediately, but you will be charged the full $39 dollars again.
