what option are you looking for?

for mobile option, PM does not provide any roaming service there, so, you will have to rely on local data sim card there. Maybe use VoIP app TextNow to make free calls to Canada and receive calls

If you meant actually "vacation alert" to those who call you, you can try to record an extended leave message on your Voicemail

@Divyas unfortunately, you won't be able to receive calls and text 😞

There used to be voice calls solution to redirect calls to VoIP app but Conditional forward has been broken

So, you will have to rely on VoIP solely (together with local data sim). Setup one yourself ahead of the trip and give the number to your friends.

And those 2FA from banks, make sure you change to Authenticator app or email as you won't be getting text when you are there
