US data Add-On not working in Anchorage, Alaska

Purchased 1GB US data 15-days plan Add-On on May 16th.

Cannot use mobile internet because data is not working second day.

Current location - Anchorage, Alaska

Please help

Roaming US add-on doesn’t work in Alaska. Lots of posts from members indicating this.

Contact a CS_Agent for a refund when you return to Canada.

The reason is that PM"s partner T-MOBILE does not have a network in that state. T-Mobile relies on another porvider to support its users in Alaska, but that deal does not extend to PM roaming customers

When you are back in Canada, please open ticket with support and ask for refund or compensation

There are other USA areas which may or may not have service compatible with Public Mobile's US Roaming add-ons. The various islands and territories and incorporated/aligned (or occupied) places which come and go from time to time, plus of course embassies and consulates in foreign lands which are technically "American soil".

One of my referrals complained to me that his Public Mobile US Roaming add-on did not work at all in Samoa and other "American" territories in the Pacific.

I've haven't used many US Roaming add-ons over the years, but they always worked fine for me in the contiguous American mainland.

HI@Korth I think it is normal that the roaming does not cover other US territories in Pacific. Even with regular roaming from Rogers, those territories has a different roaming rate than mainland USA

But for non mainland, Roaming works in Hawaii and Pureto Rico and the US Virgin Islands
