Otherwise, you should be able to receive other regular SMS texting from regular numbers.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Try restarting your phone, and perform a reset of the device's network settings.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, VPN and APN settings, and connected Bluetooth devices that you've used before.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;U&gt;Iphone:&lt;/U&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To Reset Network Settings, begin by opening the&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Settings&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;app. Next, tap&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;General -&amp;gt; Transfer or Reset iPhone -&amp;gt; Reset -&amp;gt; Reset Network Settings.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;and enter your passcode.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Your iPhone will reset network settings&amp;nbsp;and&amp;nbsp;restart itself.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;U&gt;android:&lt;/U&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Find&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;and tap Settings &amp;gt; System &amp;gt; Advanced &amp;gt; Reset options &amp;gt; Reset network settings&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/288715"&gt;@Sethchoud&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;did you just activate with Public Mobile and requested porting in the phone number?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;can you receive any sms/text from friends with other providers?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;if you just activated, and can receive regular text and just not 2FA code from other businesses, it is normal.&amp;nbsp; 2FA and other system generated text can take as many as 7 days for them to come.&amp;nbsp; Systems take longer to find out you changed providers, and banks put that delay on purpose as well to avoid sim fraud&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
