Cannot send pictures/MMS

Hi. In the last 2 days I have not been able to send any pictures. My phone is not in the list of devices that Public Mobile no longer support. What can be the issue? Thanks.

Being able to send pictures simply needs MMS enabled.

Once it is, you can send picture texts. You don't even need available data remaining to do so.

If you're using iMessage, that DOES need either data availability or wi-fi.

@514mtl you sure you are trying to send pictures using MMS and not iMessage or RCS?? what if you turn on Mobile data or use wifi at home?

if you are really sending via MMS, try clicking Reset all networks and see if it helps. But please note that it will delete your saved wifi as well and you just need to join those wifi back

OK... do other calling services work. As in calling in and out and SMS services?

Yes, everything else works... calls and texts, just cannot send pics.

What type of device do you have - an iPhone? If so, are you using iMessage or MMS to send the messages? If iMessage, the message is BLUE, if MMS it'll be green.

I have a Huawei Pro so it's not on the list of devices that are impacted by the MMS update. I'll try @softech suggestion of resetting and see if that'll work. Thank you.

If data, MMS and SMS enabled enabled. Try going to Messaging setting and clear the cache. Sometimes that helps.

I can't imagine you'd need to reset network connections to get MMS to work.

Have you tried rebooting your device and removing the SIM card and reinserting first?

Thanks, @softech. I have a Huawei Pro and I tried sending a pic using the home wifi and again with data on. I'll try your suggestion of resetting and see. Thank you.
