@Blessedinnocent , to call the US, you will need long distance minutes for US calling. Then it is just a 10 digit number call with +1 in front.

You can add long distance calling minutes to your account for this. They do not expire and stay with you until they are all used up.

log into your self serve account
tap the section called plans and add-ons
there you can browse the add-on selection available

You are looking for the US long distance add on, which will give you the capability to call the US from Canada.

If you have a saved payment card on file, you can use it to purchase the add-on. If you don’t, you can make a one time payment or add a payment voucher to the account to cover the cost of the add-on.

If you have enough points built up from rewards, you can also use that to purchase the add-on.
