Retaining promos/bonus when switching plans

Do I retain my promos/bonuses (addition of data, Long distance minutes, etc.) If I switch to a lower costing monthly plan?

For example switching from 3G $30 (2G data, unlimited Canada Wide, Unlimited International text) to 3G $15.

You will retain all add-ons that either you added or public mobile provided as gifts on your account when switching plans.

The only exception may be activation promotions which were applicable to certain value plans and higher.
