      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/270241"&gt;@adeelcomsian&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;you need the sim card number for activation but you don't really need the sim card in a phone during the activation process. (Ie, friend can help to activate as long as he has the sim card number)&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But the PM sim card for activation must be new and never been activated.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;From recent experience with PM activation via app running on a phone with different sim card than the sim number to be activated. Activation for new phone number and new sim card will immediate but for full access a 6 digit confirmation code will be sent to an unknown phone number.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What a lousy Welcome experience from PM. Thanks.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
