Hey

I have a new phone but when i put my sim card in it it says i need a sim code to unlock where would I find my code?

is this a new phone or a phone you got 2nd hand from someone ?

Have you checked to make sure the phone is unlocked ?

The default PIN for all Public Mobile SIM cards is 1234. However, if the phone is asking for the SIM card's PUK, you will need to ask a Public Mobile customer support agent for that.

If the phone is asking for a SIM network unlock PIN or SIM network unlock PUK, your phone is locked to another carrier and you'll need to ask the old carrier for those codes.

I think your phone is locked. which carrier it was used before? You will need to ask the carrier you got the phone from to unlock it

it was a phone given to me but is unlocked

its not the PUK yet anyway lol but 1234 is not working

you need to ask the person that gave you the device for the code. you can disable the option for a sim pin afterwards
