Wifi calling

Hopping on my spouse's account here.

I am thinking of switching to Public, but I see that no "wifi" calling.

Does that mean I would not be able to use my MS TEAMS app to make and receive calls?

Or, Whatsapp to do same?

@brucedagsvik WiFi calling is different. You can still use Teams and WhatsApp calling. They only need data or wifi

You're using over-the-top (OTT) apps, which just need any data connection to operate.

WiFi calling is a specific feature that allows you to make voice calls from your regular phone dialer and your regular cellular phone number, but it's can be done from WiFi when you are outside of cellular coverage. Currently PM hasn't enabled WiFi calling.

Just to finish the thought...this place does not offer actual wifi calling. They're just now in the process of rolling out volte.
