No. You will not lose your rewards.

Do not switch to the new rewards points system. The old grandfathered rewards system saves you more money.

@CRJenkins no worry, you will be on the same rewards system and get to keep all the rewards you are enjoying now

But two things:

When making plan change, it is preferred to select Change plan on renewal date to save money instead of Change plan now, unless you urgently need the new data now.
There seems to be problem with plan changing in the last couple days. If you can wait and no rush, maybe try it on Tue or Wed. In case you clicked the Change plan button and see it keep spinning, you will need to open ticket with PM support and ask them to help you to schedule the plan change on the system for you
