Making Long Distance Calls

Hello;

i have international long distance minutes but i am unable to make calls to the Caribbean. I receive a message indicating that the call cannot be completed as dialed. Is there a special way to dial out?

sorry, the list of international countries for PM LD addon is small. Most of the Carribean countries are not there

here is the list of the countries you can call on the LD add-on

**Intl long distance Add-On included countries: Australia, Austria, Bangladesh, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Romania, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, Venezuela. Calls must originate from Canada.

Caribbean is not included in any of PM long distance offers. Not in regular add-on nor in holiday gifts.

you will have to rely on Calling cards or those app to app solutions like whatsapp

"the Caribbean" is not a country. Which country are you trying to call? You can call Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands and maybe one of the Dutch islands. This all may have recently changed though.

Okay. Then how do i go about obtaining a refund for the International Long Distance Minutes which I purchased?

@9michaelm yes, PM is very understanding with that and they likely able to help reversing the transaction as long as it wasn't used

Please engage PM support:

You may try dialling 011 and then the area code of the country. It works for me when I make international long distance from Canada.

Well, I was somehow able to call a 1-868 number in Fullerton Village. No + or 011. YMMV?

Adding - and then I tried another in Cedros and no. Cell? Landline?

When calling cell or landlines I receive the same PM message "Call cannot be completed as dialed".
