      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/282734"&gt;@Hwrold&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;if it has been a year, very likely not&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and if you ported in your number from another provider, the number would have gone back to the provider where you got the number from so PM would not be able to help&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you got the number originally from PM, PM and Telus family would have kept the number for redistribution&amp;nbsp; You can try to call the number, if no one got it yet, then it is not bad.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you are joining PM anyway, pick a new number first.&amp;nbsp; Then open ticket with PM support and see if they can do anything.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/282734"&gt;@Hwrold&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; How long ago has the PM account been deactivated and where was the number issued from originally?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There's a better chance if your number was issued from PM/Koodo/Telus and it's still within the 90 days of holding period after deactivation.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can always ask customer support to see if the number is available via chatbot here:&amp;nbsp; &lt;A href="https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html" target="_blank"&gt;https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can also try calling your old number to see if it's already been assigned to another customer.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/282734"&gt;@Hwrold&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; While you won't be able to reactivate the old account and will need to start fresh with a new SIM/account,&amp;nbsp; you'll only be able to retrieve the old number if it was originally issued by PM/Telus/Koodo and has not been assigned to someone else, which you say it doesn't seem to be.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If it was issued by another carrier, then you need to open an account with them but I would first ask them if that number is available for you to activate with beforehand.&amp;nbsp; Then you would have the option to transfer the number over to PM if you still wanted to activate an account here.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
