No, PM does not have service in Cuba. You will need to use local Mobile data sim card. You might want to also download and setup VoIP app TextNow before your trip. This helps you to make free calls back to Canada for free, using the app

You can also use WhatsApp or Fongo through wifi for free calling and texting in Cuba along with the option of purchasing a local SIM there or using TextNow.

Public Mobile cellular service is only available in Canada or if you purchase an add on, you can have service in the USA for a period of time.

I'm new to public mobile, heard it through a friend of mine as well as ads on TV as well as doing some research on my own. I was currently with Telus and moved over to you guys. Read you guys are exactly the same coverage reception reliability as Telus and Bell. Wondering if this is true. I noticed that I don't have Wi-Fi calling and I think that's one of the features that public mobile lacks. But other than that the coverage is good. So I guess my theory of a question is, is public mobile exactly the same coverage and everything as you would get with Telus?
