That's really goofy. In no world is HSPA considered 4G.

It's similar to Shaw claiming their network is a true fiber optic network.

The device support is interesting, the iPhone stands out, iPhone 6 and up have supported VoLTE, so I'm wondering why iPhone 8 is listed. Curiously Apple lists iPhone 8 as a requirement for Sprint as well. Is there some new feature introduced on 8? I checked through the major tech specs, the only thing I noticed was support being added for the extended AWS band, 66.

It's been a while since Public Mobile has surprised me, but this morning they did:

This is an Umidigi Bison, Android 11, the SIM has been active for just over 6 years now.

Let's see if it sticks...

I have to be honest, I did not think it would happen here and was convinced that Telus would just starve PM to death (which they can still do...) but I'm happy to be proven wrong.

lol The get help page says roaming on 3G if no volte compatible. Uh huh.

Maybe the current roamers with talk can look for the volte switch on their phones and turn it on and see what happens. Maybe restart.

So it's official. Fantastic. Great find.

My main account is VoLTE is enabled and it works on my Pixel 7. When I tried, it doesn't work on Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) or on a Pixel 2.

Not sure what's going on.
