Text messaging picture

I can’t seem to receive pictures through text messages. I have been with public mobile since November without any issues at all. And just starting today… can’t get pictures. Is there a setting or something that I’m missing? Any advice would be great! I’m not very techy, so simple explanation would be great! Thank you!

@JSernecky , check mobile data and make sure that it is turned on. Also do you recall making any changes to the APN settings recently?

My cellular data is on and I don’t recall making any changes to the APN settings

If you have an iPhone, check to see if MMS Messaging is enabled. Go to Settings>Messages>MMS Messaging. Also check if Send as SMS is enabled.

@JSernecky What phone are you using? Have you been able to receive pictures from the sender before? Are you able to receive pictures from other contacts? Has the sender just gotten a new phone? If you're able to receive pictures from others it may be an issue with this one specific sender.

I have an iPhone. I turned it off and then on again and now everything else s working. Thank you!
