Hello ,

I was on the website today and decided to make the move to PM. When I went to order a SIM card for my wife and myself I noticed that I could only order one at a time. Is there a way to order two as opposed to ordering them one at a time? Your help is greatly appreciated....

Hi @lhernandez!

Unfortunately, we can only order 1 sim per order. The last time I had to order 2 sim cards, I just put in 2 separate orders of 1 sim each. A bit inconvenient but thats how it is set up.

Be sure to claim shipping refund upon activation of your sim cards. Ask here if you have any questions or run into problems.

Hello @lhernandez, welcome to the Public Mobile community, and congrats on deciding to give PM a try! I just wanted to make sure you're aware that your phones need to be carrier-unlocked (OR, locked to Telus or Koodo is okay too), and compatible with at least 850MHz and 1900MHz 3G HSPA/UMTS frequencies. If you're in doubt, please post your phone brands and model numbers here and we will help you determine compatibility.

Thank you for your reply. I have looked into the compatibility of our present phones. Since we are presently with Telus and the phones are less than 2 years old, I expect we won't have any issues. I appreciate the help. Many thanks.

@lhernandez yes the phones should work just fine. Note that if you signed 2 year contracts with Telus when you got those phones and the contract isn't up yet, you will have outstanding device balances to pay off if you close out the accounts by porting them. If I remember correctly (I ported from Telus too, last fall), you can easily view those balances via the MyTelusMobility site/app.
