      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/277584"&gt;@DenaChurchill&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; Get a SIM card and activate it and you can port number over to PM&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;When transferring (porting) your number to any new carrier it’s important to remember to leave the old providers SIM card in the phone until you receive the confirmation text from old carrier @that point you have 90 mins to reply YES to the confirmation text … also when going thru this process the new provider will want you old providers account number and will ask for IMEI number disregard this (IMEI) number as it has a tendency to just cos porting hiccups .. so if your ready to port to pm and already activated a SIM card you can go to your self serve serve profile tab and change /transfer (port) number this can also be done on activation but it’s advised to pick a temp number first then port&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;My account &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;Legend&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;and features &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;Change plan / update cc /auto pay &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="Handy1_0-1677010177290.png" style="width: 1290px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/77186iFEE5DE1CCF1E3481/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="Handy1_0-1677010177290.png" alt="Handy1_0-1677010177290.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;Account #/ change # port /swap SIM &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/277584"&gt;@DenaChurchill&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;First, make sure your Telus account is still active.&amp;nbsp; Login to your Telus&amp;nbsp;account and make note of the account number&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then get a PM sim card from Telus or Koodo store or Amazon&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.amazon.ca/Public-Mobile-Card-Unlocked-Phones/dp/B07R6P5KBB" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow noreferrer"&gt;https://www.amazon.ca/Public-Mobile-Card-Unlocked-Phones/dp/B07R6P5KBB&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;(do not order from PM online as it could take long for them to deliver)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Once you have the sim card, activate your account at&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://activate.publicmobile.ca/" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow noreferrer"&gt;https://activate.publicmobile.ca/&lt;/A&gt;.&amp;nbsp; You will request to Transfer your exiting number instead of picking a new number.&amp;nbsp; Please provide your current phone number and the Telus account number&amp;nbsp; as the porting info.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Once activation completed , still have the old provider sim card in your phone.&amp;nbsp; Your old provider will send you a SMS and ask your permission for the porting.&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;You need to reply YES within 90 mins for the porting to complete&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Once replied yes, you can put your PM sim card in a phone and wait for incoming calls to come.&amp;nbsp; Reboot your phone ever 30 mins and test incoming call from another line.&amp;nbsp; If incoming call reaches your PM sim card, then the Porting is completed&lt;/P&gt;</description>
