S7 phone not compatible?

Hi everyone, I'm new here, investigating the idea of switching to Public Mobile. I have a Galaxy S7, factory unlocked, currently on PC Mobile network. When I entered my IMEI in the compatibility checker, it said my phone would NOT work on the PM network.

Looking through Community posts, though, it looks like other people are using S7's, so I have to wonder if it's a mistake?

Hi @tankgirl73,

The copmatibility checker is not the most accurate tool to check whether your phone will work with Public Mobile.

I can personally tell you that the Samsung S7 (unlocked) will work on Public Mobile, as my wife used to use that phone on Public Mobile.

For future reference, for a better tool to check whether your phone is compatible with Public Mobile, you can use this website:

Yeah it should work no issues as long as the IMEI is clean.
