I've received a voicemail which I need to gain access to. My voicemail has not yet been initiated but when I try to:

Is there any workaround for this? I currently have only a data plan.

Don't think so. Talk is required to access voicemail feature.

Try sending your request to close voicemail to tech support via Contact Us at the bottomw of the page, or await the intervention of @Mary_M.
