      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/272936"&gt;@Myles_T&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;So, was the phone you said locked working on PM sim card?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;PM sells only unlocked phone, but, your phone could be locked by Telus/Koodo.&amp;nbsp; Do you remember which provider you got the phone from?&amp;nbsp; or an easy thing to check is which provider sim card is working on this phone without the "sim not supported" error?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/272936"&gt;@Myles_T&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;may sound dumb, but could the SIM be not correctly aligned?&amp;nbsp; Try removing simtray/SIM, make sure SIM is inserted correctly so the angled side lines up with the angled side in the tray.&amp;nbsp; Also make sure SIM is not upside down.&amp;nbsp; No disrespect but I like to start troubleshooting at the most very basic.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If your phone came out of the US maybe it's carrier locked to the carrier?&amp;nbsp; Or if it was a Bell device, it's possible you need a Bell SIM to unlock the device.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As others have noted, knowing where the phone came from would help point you in the right direction. &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"&gt;🙂&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
