JUST PURCHASED A PHONE FROM PUBLIC MOBILE(USED) IT NEEDS TO CONNECT TO THE NET TO UPGRADE SOFTWARE HOW DO I DO THAT?

Tell us what you have done and tried

What kind of phone is that?

you put the PM sim card there?

Voice call working?

did you turn on Mobile Data?

and you said it needs to connect to the net to upgrade software. DO NOT do it with Mobile data. Join a local wifi and download the update via Wifi.

Connect your phone to wifi or put the PM sim card into your phone.

Then do updates.

a) Settings - Network + internet - Wi-Fi - On (fill in the details for your Wi-Fi connection, like password)

b) Settings - About or System - Update or Software (scroll to bottom)... (Should be a software update option)

Hi @Shadow3 it is normal for phone to have software upgrade.

You need to connect to the net using Wifi and download the update

And other than the update, the phone is working well?

Turn on wifi and connect to a wifi network, you may need to enter a password to access the wifi network. Once connected to the internet, go to Settings > About or System > Update or Software. There should be a software update option

Is there an activated SIM card in the phone? Can you connect to a wifi network? You may want to try youtube if you aren't familiar with this new phone. More details would help.
