Can receive texts with US unlimited talk and text

I haven’t be able to receive any texts while in the US. I have the 15 days unlimited talk and text, plus 3G. I’ve turned off my phone and did everything the bot told me to do. I’ve been here three days not, but my account says I still have 15 days left. I’m I missing something?

Do you have an iPhone or have RCS (chat features) enabled on your phone? You can recieve SMS texts on your phone without a US Roaming add on so it must be a setting on your phone causing tbe issue.

You'll have to turn off iMessage and send text message as a regular SMS

@HaydenREB PM uses LTE for data and sms for US roaming. Text will work as long as the phone can connect to TMobile LTE/4G network. 3G issue only affect voice, but we can still get voice using PM's T-Mobile 2G network

@T-reid which State and city you are at? your phone able to connect to TMobile? Make sure preferred network type is set to Automatic or 4G. And try to connect to TMobile manully

Sorry I'm going on memory for iPhone settings since I'm an android user. There should be a setting to send and recieve SMS/MMS.

imessage strikes again. The welcome text comes from 7626. You need to go in to the imessage options and set send as sms and send as mms to on. Turn on roaming data as well. Of course turn on cellular data when needed.

So you're connected to T-Mobile. Do you have bars? Talk may be spotty but the text and data should be fine.

Check you phone Setting>Messages>scroll down to Send as SMS then enable (turn on) and same with MMS messaging.

on the strings are turned on. Nothing is off or is missing. I really thing it is a public mobile error. Never had this problem on this phone until is switch providers
