      <description>&lt;P&gt;A friend would like to switch over to Public Mobile with her current phone number. I can see the process for doing this but I can’t find out if she is able to keep her current contact list, photos, etc when she puts in the new SIM card.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/195295"&gt;@franselig&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Contact list are usually saved on the phone and very likely backed up onto iCould or Google.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and Photos for sure saved on the phone.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Once very easy thing to test and confirm the contacts.&amp;nbsp; Remove the sim card, reboot the phone.&amp;nbsp; If you still see all the contacts there, you are all good&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/195295"&gt;@franselig&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;While contacts used to be 'attached' to SIM cards, they are rarely done so any longer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As far as any other photos or documents, they are very likely on the device storage completely separate from the SIM card.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
