will changing my plan to 3GB data at 4G speed solve the us roaming voice problem?

please note that PM is using 3G only for voice, no matter you are on 3G speed plan or 4G speed plan.

words are that we will have VoLTE soon. The issue will be resolved once VoLTE is here, but until then, US roaming talk will be a hit or miss

@ve7rhf and fyi, even you are on 3G speed plan, your data and text are still able to use the 4G/LTE network, just that the speed is capped at 3Mbps. With the 4G speed plan, you will enjoy full speed on the 4G/LTE network

and as said above, which every plans you are on (3G or 4G), all PM customers are using 3G network for voice. And because we are not using VoLTE, roaming in US uses T-Mobile's 2G network, which is why it is a hit of miss
