International Calls

Could someone please clarify what these international calls cover? There seems to be different names of my bonus, and I'm not sure if these are just calls from Canada to another Canadian number, or to US number. I'd like to call international numbers, including to places in Asia. Is this covered and how can I find out which countries are included? Thank you

All those mean calls originate in Canada to some countries. Depends on the terms of each one. You can also use them to call Canada numbers if you run outta regular plan minutes...($15 plan)

That would be helpful to know who we can call. I found this list of countries under buying add-ons section.

@1s0s If in doubt about which countries are included, call the one you want. If it goes through it's included, if it doesn't, it's not included. No charge for trying if it isn't.

I won't be charged long distance minutes for calling a country that's not on the list? Does this mean that long distance is not possible unless I have pre-paid or received a bonus?

And so it is only the ones specifiing INTL Can or US that is limited to either of these two countries? If it doesn't say, it's for any of those other countries you sent to me? THank you

@statusquo- That's the current, purchasable add-on. The new freebie and the past ones and the original purchasable 400 minute add-on are all the same. Not your list.

@1s0s you are correct. PM is prepaid provider, you have to pay for an add-on before you call

However, you cannot call all countries anyway, PM's world is a smaller world, only selected countries can be called, and you have to buy the correct add-on

which country you are trying to call?

More the Merrier Christmas freebies are different than the LD add ons that you pay for.

Then there was a change of LD add ons of which some of the much much older add ons have more countries to call that the newer ones. And then some have said that some of the LD add ons have more countries than what is "supposed to be" included. I T ' S A M E S S

Only if PM would post into your account what the LD packages actually contained.

For some reason PM does not provide a statement that reflects what is "in" your plan...like it's all digital, all online, no paper or postage!!

I would say...make sure you have the correct format do dial LD...try it....see what plan gets deducted, if it goes through, and keep a list.

And if it does NOT work....see what LD plans are offered and if they offer the country you need. I have a lot of LD from the past years and I appreciate them....but for us unlikely to need...but is nice that they are available. Maybe some USA calls....but we have that covered with FaceTime. Just thinking out of the box may be some day I will be locked in the boot of a car in Spuzzum and have to call Scotland Yard!! And if you are on the $15 plan and have used up all your Canada Wide minutes I have been told you will be able to still call and the next lot of minutes, PM will use your LD minutes for Canada Wide calls.

There's more countries for the free minutes. I think that's very thoughtful of PM to give more countries to call for their free gift. Thank you both for the information.
