Can't send text message with new SIM card

Hi all.

I have activated my brand new PM account and sim card. I can receive text message. But I can send out.

I'm using iPhone with most updated IOS. I tried other iPhone on this SIM card, still can't send text message.

@shadowban , do you have the phone set to iMessage by default?

@shadowbanmake sure you restart your phone after inserting it, if you've done that with no success, it may be that the setup is taking some time, I'll advise that you give it some time

Yes I tried. iMessage works but not text SMS.

Try un-checking iMessage and try again. Or when you sent a message hold down the message and click on sent as text.

Best settings:

A. Settings >> Messages: iMessage ON; Send as SMS ON; MMS ON >> Send & Receive: should show phone number and Apple id email address

B. Texting should always work “if” you send to a phone number and not an email address and “if” you receive only on your phone number. So in your message settings......send/receive, only check your phone number...leave the registered email addresses unchecked.
