I recently signed up for 4 G but my phone says 3G. Can I assume settings need to be changed?

How to??

Thanks

HI @NiagaraPete

first, make sure you are not checking the signal when you are on a voice call. PM uses 3G for voice and so you will see it on 3G when you are in a call

Also, check your network type is set to 4G or Automatic.

@NiagaraPete As mentioned above, make sure LTE is selected in your Cellular settings. Try rebooting your phone and/or enable/disable airplane mode. If all this don't help, you might have to reset network settings. In this case, all remembered WiFi networks will be removed. Also, sometimes iPhones need carrier update so check for that too somewhere in settings.
