Hi,

I'm wondering if I can purchase a 10 day add on for US roaming, when I'll be leaving in a week.

Will the ten days start when the add on is purchased or as soon as I arrive in the us?

10 days US add-on start as soon as you purchase it. So wait until you are ready to go and purchase same day. Be aware US service might not work everywhere due to no 3G in US anymore. You might utilize 2G.

All add-ons start the moment you buy them. For the roaming ones, focus on buying at the top of an hour so that you know exactly 240 hours later when it expires. If you're wanting to extend roaming after that then there are issues.

When you get there, manually connect to T-Mobile to maximize the chances for talk.

Buy the add-on shortly before you go as it only lasts for 10 days...240 hours.

Talk in US is very unrelliable now.
