@rita1 hi yes my Father in law has one it works great he is on Public too,your sim should work fine

this is the bands available on your phone BOLD are the compatible one

3G bands HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1700(AWS) / 1900 / 2100
4G bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 17, 25, 26, 38, 40, 41, 66, 71
