Outbound phone calls doesn't ring the first time

Hi, I migrated back to Public Mobile from Koodo on the $40/15gb plan a few weeks ago. However, when I make a phone call, it does not ring through, all I hear is silence. If I hang up, then redial, it will ring through, I'll hear the dialing sounds. This happens with calling my VM too. I did not have any issues like this when I was on Koodo, even though it's the same network. I've tried restarting my phone.

Does anyone else have this issue? Is there a fix?

@supermoon , maybe it is a phone issue? What model of phone are you using?

Hi @will13am , thanks for the reply. I'm using Samsung S22. It's the same phone I used while on Koodo.

HI @supermoon did you get this weird voice problem everywhere? Try in different area and try to call different number

You can change network type to 3G ONLY and see if it helps, I think it will. But I won't suggest you to leave it as 3G Only as you are on 4G speed data plan. Just change for a test and change it back

You should also try Reset All network after and it might resolve your problem
