Why can’t I get a text add on? My plan offers 50 outgoing 30 day term

You have old, grandfathered 50/50 plan. Since PM offers unlimited SMS in/out with Every plan they do not offer Canada SMS add-on.

I guess idea is to switch to $15 plan at least.

@Tazzy hi if you are on the 13 dollar plan the only way is to upgrade to the 15 dollar plan there is no text add on

Have you tried sending as an MMS?

It has long been asked for to have a text add-on. With that plan being long expired and that it was the only one that had limited texting, you almost certainly won't see an add-on.
