Yeah I hadn’t known that at the time. I threw mine out. So I had to contact Rogers via phone.

So I recently switched to public from Rogers. I wasn’t aware that I needed to keep my old SIM card to confirm. Anyways I contacted Rogers about sporting my number and they put a bypass on my number for 3 days. Do I still need to contact public or start a ticket to get them to finish porting the process?

Whatever bypass means... Both account have to be active!

You could initiate porting of your number again trough My Account. Keep your Rogers SIM in your phone and reply YES within 90 minutes of receiving SMS from Rogers. Porting should complete within few hours.
