Subscribed to the roaming add ons and the service never worked (disputed by PM which indicated it worked partially). Anyway totally frustrating. Signed up for an e-sim at Mint mobile for $45 for 3 months and works perfectly, no hassles, no excuses, no lack of service. Fine with PM in Canada, but outside no.

@Bob45 , roaming add-on has been a nightmare for many customers since the 3G network shutdown in the US. It's always been a better solution to shop local in terms of pricing and performance. The only advantage of roaming is convenience and ability to use the same phone number.

Boost Mobile and Tello are another low cost carriers in the USA.

TextNow is another Canadian carrier company operating in the USA.
