Your best option is the excellent $5/500 minute add-on. Add-ons are a buy once and use over time deal here. Unlike most other providers.

I have plan $15 / month. If 100 minutes have been used, can I still make a call? It will charge the extra on my credit card? Or it stops & I can’t make any outgoing call? Thanks

All cycles are 30 days not monthly. After 30 days your account becomes inactive/suspended if you do not renew. If you are on autopay it will renew automatically. If not on autopay you have 90 days to make a payment to resume your service otherwise your account will be closed automatically and your number gone. If you do decide to resume services do not wait for the 90 day mark. Renew on day 85 in case something goes wrong.

https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/get-help/articles/what-happens-when-you-miss-a-payment
