When I took on the basic plan I used my 250 data cautiously and never went over. Now I’m using it even more cautiously and keep running out.

@roddyjb , the data meter is legal tender so to speak. These days everything on the internet is more content rich and therefore consumes more data.

My data been running out a lot faster as well. Came here to get answers, but I guess there's others wondering the same thing. I've only paid my monthly plan in the last week, and I was rarely on it, just got a text saying I've used 75% of it. 🙄

The phone apps are updating in the background using your data. You can disable App Updates and In-app Contents.

Click the refresh to get current data availability.

Disable data to apps that you don't regularly use.

No issues here. My Samsung shows almost exact usage as my account. But my DATA is Off all the time except when I really have to use it. So check if your DATA is On or Off and do not leave it 'by accident' On.
