Yes, you can take your phone with PM SIM to USA but you have to purchase US add-on (different packages, SMS/call/data).

US add-on package starts immediately and lasts for 240 hours. Success of connecting to US network (T-mobile) varies and some customers have no luck at all thus have no service.

Add US add-on to cart and then proceed to pay.

Like the others said, you have to purchase a US add-on, but I've read that since the data is at 3G speeds, the reception is spotty because the US has decommissioned most of the 3G towers. Apparently it will revert back to 2G but have been told it is hit or miss. I recently went to Hawaii and intended on getting the travel add-on but after some discussion, I decided against and purchased a prepaid SIM from LycaMobile on Amazon. You can also purchase a SIM in the states to use there. Hopefully this helps!
