I purchased 250 MB of us roaming data and it somehow got eaten up in about 6 hours. Bought another 250 mg and it was gone in 3 hours - texting, limited maps - not much! Is this normal? What eats of the data so quickly? I don't even go through 3 GB in a month!

My app status was the same as it always is - some are on, some are off. I left them how they normally are. Is this more of an issue for US data roaming?

This is strange. Try turning your data off until you absolutely need it. I’ve never had this issue when in the US.
