Hello,

So my daughters phone currently is unable to text my phone number for some reason. Would there be a specific reason for this? Her phone is the one with public mobile and mine is with another company my work pays for.

Do her texts go through to other numbers? What type of phones do you have? Has she tried calling you?

we both have i phones and yes she can call and text others. It seems to just be my phone she can't call or text

Is her number blocked on your phone? Another test would be to have her try to call a colleague from your work on the same company provider (if not corporate shared) account.

No her number is not blocked on my phone. She can text her dad who is also with bell and all our family members with no issues. It is literally only my number she has issues with.

@PHastie Can she call your phone number? She may use up her data so she can't text you if she use iMessage to text you. Tell her to turn off iMessage in iPhone and turn on MMS Messaging.

She has data on her phone. So i tired just texting me from my phone and the message goes to me and *611 but I never get the message and she get a message back saying Free Message: Please call *611 from your mobile device for assistance. Noe if I sent her a message from my phone she get's the message no problem

Yes she can text her dad with no issues what so ever. She can also call me as well with no issues and I can call her with no issues. I have an iphone 11 and she has an iphone 7
